DARE Co., N.C. – Officials are investigating after a fire at Pop’s Raw Bar Wednesday evening.
Fire crews were called to the restaurant on Highway 12 around 4:30 p.m.
It took firefighters about two hours to put the fire out.
Highway 12 was blocked in both directions in front of the restaurant for about 2 hours for firefighters to have access to the fire hydrant that was located across the street.
Buxton and Frisco Volunteer fire departments, and Dare County EMS, Sheriff’s Office and Fire Marshall responded.
No one was injured during the fire and the cause is under investigation.
