NORFOLK, Va. – Two men have been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on September 25.
The two men arrested are 22-year-old Daniel Carrington and 23-year-old Deonte Green.
Both men have been charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
The men are being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
Carrington and Green have been arrested after police responded to the 2500 block of Hale Streeton September 25 around 5:30 a.m.
Officers found 27-year-old Darrell Beck Jr. lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics transported Beck to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died.
Carrington was arrested on September 26 in the 1700 block of Jubilee Street without incident, with the assistance of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Green was arrested on September 27 in the 3600 block of East Virginia Beach Blvd. without incident by the Norfolk Police Department’s Fugitive Squad.
