Update: Detectives have located Michael Walker safe and unharmed.  He has been returned home to his family.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police need your help finding a missing man with short-term memory loss.

Detectives say 59-year-old Michael Walker was last seen on September 7 at 9:30 a.m. at his home in the 5800 block of Eric Street.

Detectives are concerned for Walker’s well being because he has problems remembering things and gets lost very easily.

Walker is described as a black male that stands approximately 5’9” tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a hat. Mr. Walker has a distinct birthmark on the center of his forehead.
