NEWPORT NEWS, Va – Newport News Police are searching for the person responsible for robbing a 7-Eleven, as well as a customer inside the store, at gunpoint early Friday morning.
The robbery happened at the location in the 13300 block of Warwick Boulevard around 1 a.m.
Police say the man entered the store and robbed a customer at gunpoint taking money, then robbed the clerk of more money.
The suspect fled the 7-Eleven on foot across Warwick Boulevard after the robbery.
No one was hurt.
The robbery remains under investigation.
