HAMPTON, Va. — The No. 13 William & Mary football team earned a 24-14 victory at Hampton on Saturday evening.
The Tribe got 294 passing yards from senior quarterback Steve Cluley and two touchdowns, while junior wideout DeVonte Dedmon posted seven catches for 168 yards. Redshirt freshman Albert Funderburke rushed for 70 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown dash that iced the game for William & Mary.
The Tribe welcome Norfolk State to their renovated Zable stadium next week, while the Pirates start MEAC play in D.C. versus Howard.
