NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A window washer is in critical condition after falling 10 stories Friday afternoon.
The victim was washing windows in the 2600 block of Washington Ave. in downtown Newport News when he fell approximately 10 stories onto another roof.
Police and fire crews were called to the area around 1:45 p.m.
Nightingale airlifted the victim to a hospital.
The extent of his injuries are unknown.
