Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Stretch of heat and humidity… Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with scattered showers and storms mixing in, especially this morning. Highs today will warm into the low 90s. It will feel more like 100 with a dew point in the low 70s.
The heat and humidity will continue for Friday and Saturday. Highs will return to the low 90s for Friday and Saturday. Expect afternoon heat index values near 100 each day. We will see a mix of sun and clouds both days with slim rain chances.
A cold front is set to move in on Sunday, increasing our chances for showers and storms but bringing in cooler temperatures and lower humidity for early next week. Highs will drop to the low 80s by Monday.

Tropical Update
We are tracking a tropical wave located just west of the Cabo Verde Islands. Significant development of this system is not expected during the next couple of days. However, conditions could become a little more favorable for gradual development, and a tropical depression could form early next week while this system moves westward and then WNW into the central Atlantic.
