Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Turning up the heat and humidity…  Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with scattered showers and storms mixing in. Strong to severe storms are possible especially for areas closer to Richmond and D.C. Highs today will return to the upper 80s. It will feel more like the mid 90s with dew point in the mid 60s.

Get ready for more heat and humidity to end the work week. Highs will climb into the low to mid 90s for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. With dew points returning to the low 70s, expect afternoon heat index values near 100 each day. We will see a mix of sun and clouds each day with a stray to isolated shower/storm possible. Most areas should stay dry.

A cold front is set to move in Sunday night, increasing our chances for rain but bringing in cooler temperatures and low humidity for early next week.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms (30%). Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10
