The First Warning Storm Team is tracking a few scattered showers and storms and summer-like temperatures.

A few lingering showers and storms, otherwise dry with partly cloudy skies overnight. Lows in the mid 70s.

If you’ve missed the heat and humidity, don’t worry, it’ll be back on Thursday. We’re expecting highs in the low to mid 90s. But because of the humidity, heat index values will be near 100. It’ll be a mostly dry day with a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm.

Heat and humidity will be the story for the next couple of days. Highs will warm to the lower 90s. Heat index values will likely be in the triple digits.

By Sunday, a cold front moves in, giving way to scattered showers and storms. Highs will warm into the upper 80s Sunday afternoon. After the front crosses the area, highs will cool into the lower 80s.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. A lingering shower or storm (20%). Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly Sunny. Isolated Showers/Storms (20%). Hot and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
