Police investigating Hampton Wells Fargo robbery

HAMPTON, Va. – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a bank robbery.

On September 6 around 5 p.m., police received a call about a bank robbery that happened at the Wells Fargo in the 100 block of Marketplace Drive.

According to police, a man came into the bank, pulled out a gun and demanded cash. Once the teller gave the robber the money, he drove away in a dark-colored sedan.

There were customers inside of the bank at the time of the robbery, but no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a light colored hoodie and dark colored pants.
