SUFFOLK, Va. – Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that happened shortly after 9 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Cherry Grove Road.

According to police, an elderly man was confronted by three unknown men who entered his home and demanded cash. The man spoke to News 3 on Saturday, but asked to not be identified. He was too scared to show his face on camera because the men are still on the loose.

The man says the men knocked on his door, when he answered it, they forced their way inside. One of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while others grabbed the money.

The suspects got out of the house and drove away in a small four door vehicle.

The elderly man was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
