NORFOLK, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the 1300 block of West Norcova Drive around 3:40 a.m. where they located the 35-year-old victim.
He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Neighbors said the shooting took place on the street outside a residence where a party was going on.
The victim told detectives that while he was walking outside two unknown men approached him and took personal property from him. The victim said he was running away when he was shot.
Neighbors told News 3 the victim was shot in the arm twice.
The suspects were described as black men, one wearing a white t shirt and beige pants.
