DAYTON, Ohio – Wright State University is pulling out of its presidential debate scheduled for September 26, and the debate will move to Hofstra University, sources tell CNN.
“The decision to withdraw from the debate is a reflection of our commitment to safety and operating within a fiscally responsible budget,” University President David Hopkins tweeted Tuesday. “Thank you to the Wright State community and all of Raider Country, especially our host committee, for your support through this journey.”
