NORFOLK, Va. - Inside Hampton Road's first UFC Gym is a community that takes getting fit to another level.  The gym opened up in late June, offering members cardio, free weights, and multiple forms of martial arts classes.

""The people are almost more enthusiastic than the trainers, they love it here," wrestling trainer Aaron Runzo says. Runzo is a part of five trainers that teach wrestling, boxing/kickboxing, muy thai, and  jiu jitsu.

This gym is quickly making a name for itself--it's been open for a month and has more than 300 members already. Ages six and up can get in on the action and learn the fundamentals of using the punching bag. "I want them drippin in sweat, so that they see the product is working," boxing trainer Nelson Lebron says.

Class members and the trainers are already creating a bond, so that they can continue to reach a new level with every class. "They're doing two or three workouts in awhile, sometimes we tell em not to so that they're forgetting to eat and they're dying but they're having fun," Runzo says.

And they're just getting started. The Virginia Beach location is currently being built.
