NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Three people were rescued from a capsized boat near the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel.
Virginia Marine Police received a call around 12:35 p.m. about a capsized boat in the water.
A good Samaritan was able to rescue a woman from the water.
Two Marine Police officers responded to the incident and were able to rescue two men from the water.
Sea Tow Hampton Roads towed the capsized boat.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
