Battleship Wisconsin (BB-64) in Norfolk Harbor, Virginia
NORFOLK, Va. – Nauticus is hosting their popular “Fantail Film Festival” on the fantail of the Battleship Wisconsin throughout the summer.
“What better way to spend a Saturday evening during the summer than watching a classic movie on the fantail of the Battleship Wisconsin just like sailors did during World War II!” a Nauticus spokesperson said.
The summer series kicked off on Saturday with a showing of Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis.
There are three movies left in the series, including:
- Finding Nemo – July 23 at 8:30 p.m.
- Captain America: Winter Solider – August 6 at 8:15 p.m.
- Tarzan – August 20 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $3 at the Nauticus admissions desk. Reservations are not required and concessions will be available to purchase. Guests should bring their own lawn chairs.
