RICHMOND, Va. – A new group of spirits will join the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control’s offerings in July as 41 new products are added to the current 2,600 product catalog.
The new products include 10 whiskies, nine mixers and garnishes, four vodkas and cordials, three moonshines, two Virginia wines, tequilas, brandies and mezcals and one rum, scotch and vermouth.
“Virginia ABC strives to provide a fresh mix of products across different brands, sizes and price points,” said
Director of Marketing John Shiffer. “We’re always looking at industry trends to bring our customers the best
and most relevant selection of spirits.”
Four times a year, Virginia ABC reviews hundreds of products presented by distillers and suppliers and scores them based on a variety of criteria including category needs and popularity trends.
