NORFOLK, Va. – July 6 is National Fried Chicken Day! With fried chicken being a staple food here in the Southeast, News 3 went to check places that locals love to get the best friend chicken.
Feather -N- Fin has been a local favorite in the area for more than a decade. Tim Roberts took over the business in 2013 in place of his father, who owned Feather -N- Fin since 1991. Locals say along with the perfectly fried chicken, they love the customer service.
Another favorite is Martin's Soul Food -- a restaurant that is only three years old, but already developing a great reputation for their fried chicken, that they say is made with love.
