Clean sweeps on the First Warning radar tonight, thanks to a high pressure system. Tonight will feature clear to partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will begin to ease after midnight. Patchy fog is possible tonight and early tomorrow morning.

A Coastal Flood Statement has been issued for locations along the tidal James River. River levels will remain elevated through tonight. Inundation of water in and near low-lying coastal areas could lead to localized road closures and minor flooding.

Monday will be mostly dry and warmer as the winds shift out of the southeast. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. A slight chance for a shower or storm late associated with an approaching cold front from the west.

The best chance for showers and storms will be Tuesday as a cold front moves across the region.
