Tracking scattered showers and storms….We’ve had some unbelievable weather recently, with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. But things are about to change. We’re tracking showers, storms and warmer temperatures.

As we move through our Tuesday night, expect partly cloudy skies. A few isolated showers are possible overnight as a warm front moves through the area. Low temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s.

Then, all eyes will be on an area of low pressure from the northwest. The low will move into our area Wednesday, giving way to unsettled weather. We’ll see partly sunny skies to start and a couple of isolated showers. But the rain will become a bit more scattered by the afternoon and evening. Some thunderstorms are likely, too, with heavy rain. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

More scattered showers and storms will be possible on Thursday as the low moves through the area. Some storms could be strong to possibly severe. Otherwise, we’ll see partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s. By Friday, the low will drag a cold front through the area, giving way to even more scattered rain and slightly cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Right now, the Father’s Day Weekend is looking mainly dry under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid and upper 70s.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Isolated Shower (20%). Low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Winds: SE 5-10 mph.

Wednesday: Partly Sunny. Scattered Showers and Storms (50%). High temperatures in the mid 80s. Winds: S/SE 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Partly Sunny. Scattered Showers and Storms (40%). High temperatures in the mid 80s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
