Cocaine recovered in bathroom trash can leads to arrests

DARE COUNTY, N.C. – Police arrested two men after about 16 grams of cocaine was recovered from a restroom in a local business.

A narcotics team received information about individuals selling cocaine. Using that information they were able to locate the suspects in the Kill Devil Hills area.

Quaysean Marquis Beasley, 24, and Daquan Tyrie Whidbee, 22, have been arrested.

Beasley was charged with Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine. He also had outstanding warrants.

Whidbee Felony was charged with Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

After perusing the suspects, police were able to locate them after they stopped and went into a business.

The Task Force took the men in custody and searched the area where the individuals had been, both inside and outside of the business.

The cocaine was found in a bathroom trash can wrapped up in paper.
