Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

A warm and muggy weekend… If you liked yesterday’s weather, then odds are you will enjoy today too. We will see sunshine again today with a few clouds mixing in. Highs will return to near 80, just a degree or two below normal for this time of year. We will have a nice breeze from the north, keeping our humidity relatively low.

We will have a very summer-like forecast for the weekend. Winds will shift to the south and west this weekend, bringing in more heat and humidity. Highs will climb into the low 90s both days. Dew points will climb into the upper 60s to near 70, making it feel about 5 degrees warmer. In typical summer style, a “pop up” shower or storm is possible both days with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be a bit breezy this weekend with winds 10 to 15 mph, with a few higher gusts on Sunday.

Highs will fall back into the low 80s to start the work week. Rain and storm chances will increase for midweek.

Today: Mostly Sunny. Highs near 80. Winds: N/E 5-15

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 60s. Winds: SE/S 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Highs near 90. Winds: SW 5-15
