Meteorologist Dominic Brown’s First Warning Forecast

Temps much hotter for the weekend….Brace yourself! Our temperatures are going way up for the weekend. In fact, we`re tracking temperatures in the 90s – some of the hottest weather we`ve seen this year!

But first, as we move through this Thursday evening, expect clear and calm conditions. Overnight low temperatures will fall into the lower 60s.

We`ll see a good deal of sunshine on Friday. A few high clouds are possible, but most areas will be dry. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

By the weekend, we`re tracking a mix of sun and clouds. A few isolated showers or storms are possible Saturday with the daytime heating and an approaching cold front from the north, but the entire weekend will not be a washout.  There will be several sunny and dry moments, so enjoy! We`ll keep an isolated shower or storm in the forecast for Sunday, too. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s. But because of the humidity, it will feel a lot hotter.

On Monday and Tuesday, with the cold front to our south, temperatures will drop back into the low 80s.
Thursday night: Mostly clear. Temps will drop into the lower 60s. Winds: W 5-10 mph.

Friday: Some high clouds will move in throughout the day. Highs near 80. Slight chance for an isolated shower in the afternoon (20%) Winds N 5-15 mph.
