According to People.com, Taylor Swift crashed a wedding in New Jersey on Saturday after receiving a touching letter from the groom’s sister.
Max Singer and Kenya Smith were more than surprised to see Swift perform “Blank Space” at their reception. Max’s sister, Ali knew it was coming though, as she coordinated with Swift for the past few months.
Ali wrote Swift back in April about the passing of their mother. She explained how Max and Kenya were wed in the hospital by the mother’s bed so she wouldn’t miss the moment before passing.
Ali also explained in her letter that Max is one of her biggest fans and even danced with his mother before her passing to “Blank Space” as their mother-son dance.
Swift performed the song and painted the happy couple a hand-made card, commemorating their wedding.
