VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Members of the Special Weapons And Tactics Unit assisted with a search warrant in the 300 block of Falling Lane in their investigation of a shooting in the area on Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe that a pedestrian fired several rounds at a burgundy Mazda sedan around 1 p.m.

Officers believe that the driver of the car was trying to get away from the pedestrian when the car hit a garage door in the 300 block of Sunflower Court. The vehicle then backed up and hit two fences before driving away.

Police are looking for the pedestrian, the Mazda, and the occupants of the Mazda.

The burgundy Mazda sedan was described as having both front end and passenger side damage and a broken out rear window.

Police are currently speaking with one juvenile and two adults in reference to the incident.
