NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Police are investigating after finding a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were in the area of the 600 block of Ridley Circle around 1:30 p.m. when they heard gunshots.
The officers located a 17-year-old boy who had been shot.
The teen was taken to a hospital where he is expected to recover from his injuries.
According to police, the teen is not cooperating with their investigation.
The only suspect description is a tall and thin black male wearing all dark clothing.
