Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey’s First Warning Forecast

The stubborn remnants of tropical storm Bonnie will continue to bring us a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms for the next few days. Then a stubborn cold front will bring us a chance for showers and storms through the weekend!

It looks like no single day will be a washout. We expect some fog each morning for the next few days with scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. It will be warm and muggy with high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s and lower 80s.

By Friday, Bonnie will have moved out of the area, but a stalled cold front will continue to bring us scattered afternoon storms. That cold front will move back north as a warm front through the weekend. We expect high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday in the low to mid 80s.

Yet another cold front will swing through on Monday bringing us more scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of those could also linger into Tuesday.
