PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night.
Dispatchers received the 911 call at 9:31 pm for the armed robbery of Zippy's Food Mart located at 3401 Hartford Street.
No one was hurt.
Portsmouth Police say the suspect ran away after getting an undisclosed amount of money.
Surveillance video from the robbery has been released by Portsmouth Police. It shows the armed suspect forcing one person to the ground before taking money from the register.
