In March, Fred Brooks' three children filed a lawsuit against Siers-Hill alleging that she poisoned their father to death in order to gain control of his estate.

Court records show Brooks' made Siers-Hill a co-trustee of his estate just nine days before he died.

The case was set for trial on Wednesday, but records show the matters were resolved, and asked that the trial be removed from the docket.
