Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey’s First Warning Forecast

Well, it looks like our sunshine is about to give way to showers and thunderstorms once again.

An approaching cold front will bring a scattered showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, mainly in the afternoon. Severe weather, however, is unlikely.

And while the sunshine is going away, the mild weather will stick around. We expect high temperatures on Tuesday back in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

More wet weather is likely Tuesday night and through at least the first half of Wednesday. Once again, we expect highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

High pressure returns on Thursday to bring us dry weather to end the work week. We expect plenty of sunshine both Thursday and Friday with high temperatures in the lower 70s.

But more showers and more thunderstorms return for the weekend. We will have a 40 to 50% chance for wet weather both Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the lower 70s.
