Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Severe storms possible today… A few areas are waking up to dense fog again this morning, but not as widespread as the past few mornings. We will see a mix of clouds today as a cold front builds in. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially for the afternoon hours. Strong to severe storms are possible with gusty winds, heavy downpours and hail possible. Highs will climb into the upper 70s early this afternoon before the front moves through. Rain will move out and skies will begin to clear this evening.

We will start the weekend with a nice mix of sun and clouds. Highs will climb to near 80 Saturday afternoon before another cold front moves in. Expect scattered showers and storms Saturday evening. Our severe weather threat will be lower than today. Rain and clouds will clear out Saturday night. Highs will cool into the upper 60s on Sunday, behind the cold front. We will see more sunshine for Sunday and to start next week.
