More showers and storms….We’re tracking even more showers and storms in your forecast, so hang on to your umbrella. A front remains stationary over the viewing area this Wednesday evening, which will send scattered showers and thunderstorms our way. Some storms could be strong to severe, with heavy rain and gusty winds as the primary threats. We’ll keep an eye on it through the night. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be in the lower 60s.

On Thursday, we’re not expecting as much rain. In fact, we’ll likely see mostly cloudy skies. Some of us might be lucky enough to see some peeks of sunshine. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

A cold front will move in from the west on Friday. This frontal system has had a history of producing severe weather in the Great Plains and the Midwest, and as it rolls our way, we’re going to watch for the potential of severe weather here at home.  Showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Friday. Any storms that develop could produce heavy rain, gusty winds and hail. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s.

By the weekend, a little more rain is possible late Saturday, but the entire weekend does not look like a washout. High temperatures will be in the 70s on Saturday, then falling into the 60s on Sunday.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers/Storms (60%). Low temperatures in the low 60s. Winds: E 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly Cloudy. Isolated Showers (20%). High temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy. Showers and Storms Likely (70%). High temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds: S 5-15 mph.
