Sun, clouds and a slight chance of showers on Mother’s Day….We’re not expecting a washout as we move through our Mother’s Day, but a few isolated showers are possible. But first, as we move through our Saturday night, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. A few isolated showers are possible tonight, especially inland. Low temperatures will be in the mid and upper 50s.  There could also be some nuisance tidal flooding around high tide. High tide at Sewells Point is at 10:42 p.m.

On Sunday, we’re going to keep a close eye on a cold front that will swing through the area from the north. That front won’t have a ton of moisture with it. However, a couple of isolated showers are possible. Again, we’re not expecting a washout.  Otherwise, we’ll see a mixture of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s.

Then, next week, get ready for even warmer temps. We’re tracking highs in the 80s, along with a chance of rain and thunderstorms almost every afternoon and evening, from Tuesday through the end of the work week.

Saturday Night: Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Isolated Shower (20-30%). Low temperatures in the mid and upper 50s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Mother’s Day: Partly Cloudy. Slight Chance of Showers (20%). High temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds: SW-NW 10-15 mph.

Monday: Partly Sunny. Slight Chance of Showers (20%). High temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.
