BELTSVILLE, Md. – A man shot and killed his estranged wife in the parking lot of High Point High School, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Police say 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil is the suspected shooter. The victim is 44-year-old Gladys Tordil.

When officers arrived at the school around 4:40 p.m., they found Gladys Tordil fatally shot in her SUV.

A man was shot while trying to intervene and help the woman before the shooting. He was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Investigators say Tordil followed his estranged wife as she drove to the school to pick up her children. He got out of his car and confronted her as she sat in her SUV.

He shot the man first and then Gladys Tordil multiple times.

Police are still looking for Eulalio Tordil. If you know where he is, call 911.
