NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 22-year-old woman on Tuesday night.
Police responded to a robbery in progress in the 5300 block of Old Court Drive just before 11:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the 22-year-old woman suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. She was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.
The woman told police that two unknown, armed men approached her while she was sitting in her car, and demanded money.
The men drove off after shooting and robbing the woman.
