Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Several rain and storm chances… A cold front moved in last night and will now stall out over the Mid-Atlantic for the next few days. The stalled front will impact our temperatures and rain chances. We will see some sunshine mixing in this morning but mostly cloudy skies this afternoon. A few showers are possible this morning but rain chances will increase for this afternoon and evening. A few storms could mix in with heavy downpours and small hail possible. With the cold front right over us, we will see a bit of temperature variety this afternoon. Most spots will reach to the low 70s. Northern locations will likely stay in the 60s, southern locations may climb to near 80.

Showers and storms will continue for Thursday with mostly cloudy skies. Some storms could be strong to severe. Highs will reach the upper 60s tomorrow afternoon. A few showers could linger into Friday before the string of fronts finally moves off of the coast. Highs will return to the upper 60s on Friday.

Today: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(40%). Highs in the low 70s. Winds: SW/NE 5-15

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Showers/Storms(60%). Lows in the upper 50s. Winds: E 5-15

Tomorrow: Mostly Cloudy, Showers/Storms(70%). Highs in the upper 60s. Winds: E 5-10
