Suspect fires at person during argument, hits Franklin home instead

FRANKLIN, Va. – A shot was fired during an argument in Franklin on Tuesday and a home was hit police say.

A city employee saw two people arguing in the 100 block of Langston Court.

The suspect pulled out a gun and fired it at the other person involved in the argument.

The bullet missed the person and hit the home.

When police arrived, they suspect left the area.

Officers tried to talk to potential witnesses about the incident, but they did not cooperate.

The suspect is described as a black man who was wearing  jeans, a black t-shirt, and a white do-rag. He was last seen running west on South Street toward Wilson Street.
