Police investigate robbery at Hampton KFC

HAMPTON, Va. – Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant Sunday night.

Officers were called to the KFC in the 200 block of West Mercury Blvd. shortly before 9 p.m.

The investigation revealed that two people entered the restaurant, displayed a firearm and demanded money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled to the rear of the business on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The first suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’11” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue mask, a burgundy coat and burgundy shoes.

The second suspect was described as a black male or female, approximately 5’3″ tall. He or she was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with possible red stripes.
