SUFFOLK, Va. – Zaxby’s will be opening their first store in Suffolk in late April, the company says.
Zaxby’s falls somewhere between a fast-food and sit-down restaurant and serves chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, salads and more in a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
They currently have stores in 16 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
Construction is nearing completion on the 3,800-square-foot location in Suffolk, which will be located at 6120 College Drive. The building has a farmhouse design with silo, and offers guests a high-end, fast-casual experience — floor-to-ceiling brick walls, with modernized tables and booths, all complemented by an eclectic mix of photography. Zaxby’s also offers drive-thru services to meet the needs of customers on the go.
“This will be the first Zaxby’s store we have opened in Suffolk,” said Glenn Varner, licensee of the new location. “We love the Suffolk area and have been blown away by the continuous support that we receive from residents. With this being the sixth store in the area, Zaxby’s has really become a staple restaurant for the community here and we love being able to offer another convenient location.”
The company is looking to hire about 50 team members for the Suffolk store.
