NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Police are investigating after an apartment building was struck with multiple bullets.
Police were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Stallings Court on Monday just after 11 p.m.
The victim, a 54-year-old Newport News resident, told police he and his daughter were in the home when multiple gunfire struck the apartment.
Officers found multiple rounds inside of the apartment and cartridge cases in a back yard facing the victim’s apartment.
Police say the victim exchanged words with three men trespassing on his property on April 8. The three men said they had weapons.
No one was hurt. The investigation is ongoing.
