VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The annual Aerodrome Wine Classic will return to the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo.
The event will be held on April 16 from noon to 5 p.m. and include drinks from regional wineries, food from local vendors, antique cars and live music.
Democracy Vineyards, General’s Ridge Vineyard, James River Cellars Winery, Mountain Cove Vineyards and Vault Field Vineyards will participate in the festivities. Live music will be provided by The Tiki Bar Band. Food and non-alcoholic beverage services will be provided by Jake’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que and Bro’s Fish Tacos.
Guests will be able to access to the museum’s hangars, including a collection of vintage World War I and World War II aircrafts. Attendees will be able to fly in an authentic World War II aircraft. The museum’s 1941 Boeing Stearman and 1989 Waco YMF-5 will be available for 15-minute and 30-minute rides. If you’d like to reserve a flight, call 757-721-7767.
