Newport News, Va. – A 14-year-old endangered runaway called police to turn herself in after seeing a story about her on the news.
Paryss Amari Nichols is currently in North Carolina and will be brought back to Newport News. She is safe and unharmed.
Police say Paryss was reported as a runaway by her mother on April 2.
Paryss was last seen at her home in the 700 block of 27th Street in Newport News around 4 a.m. that day.
