Elizabeth City, NC – The Coast Guard rescued three people from a boat that began taking on water early Wednesday approximately six miles east of Oregon Inlet.

Watchstanders from Coast Guard Sector North Carolina were notified Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. that a 43-foot commercial fishing vessel with three people aboard was taking on water.
