Hampton Police search for bank robbery suspects

Hampton, Va. – Police are looking for two people in connection with a bank robbery Friday evening.

Police were called to the Premier Bank in the 100 Block of North Armistead Ave. just before 5:30 p.m. on a report of a bank robbery.

Investigation revealed that two people entered the bank, displayed  firearms and demanded money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the suspects fled the scene on foot. They were last seen on Lincoln Street going toward North Back River Road.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 5’9″-6′ tall with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and had a blue bandanna covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a black male, between 20-30 years old, about 6′ tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, black shoes, a black knit/beanie style cap, and had a white t-shirt or bandanna covering his face.

Both suspects were armed with a firearm.
