Tracking warm temps and showers on Sunday, then more rain next week….Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts because next week, our high temperatures are taking a dip. But as we move through our Sunday, it will be another warm one, with high temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. A couple of spots could even see highs near 70.  We’ll likely start the day with some sunshine, but by afternoon, clouds will increase and thicken, ahead of a cold front. That front will move in from the northwest Sunday, giving way to a few scattered showers by afternoon and evening.  The front will slide to our south on Monday over the Carolinas. Now, while there will be a chance of rain Monday, best chances will be to our south. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low to mid 50s. Rain chances will likely go back up into Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of our forecast models are hinting at some lingering rain by Thursday. As for our temperatures, with all the clouds and several chances of rain, high temperatures will fall back into the 50s for most of next week. We’ll be in the 40s next weekend.

Saturday Night: Partly Cloudy and Cool. Low temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Sunday: Increasing Clouds. Few Showers Possible (20-30%). A Little Warmer. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. Winds: S/SW 5-10 mph.

Monday: Mostly Cloudy. Slight Chance of Rain (20%). High temperatures in the lower 50s. Winds: N 10-15 mph.
