San Francisco, Calif. - Nearly 3,000 miles, two flights and a couple Uber rides later, our NewsChannel 3 team made it cross country to the Super Bowl.

Reporter Makenzie Walter and Producer Gabrielle Smith arrived in San Francisco yesterday afternoon where the city showed ample spirit.

Flags are hung, billboards raised and fans roam the streets with endless excitement for the big game.

The city set-up several "fan villages" for visitors to interact and get a closer look at life in the NFL. The NFL experience is everything a football fan could dream of. The interactive theme park features numerous family-friendly activities, including Play 60 games, a close look at the Vince Lombardi Trophy, a scenario where fans get drafted by their favorite team and autograph sessions by NFL players themselves.

And that's just one stop on this journey. Check for more updates on the team's coverage right here on NewsChannel 3.
