Police investigating Poquoson credit union robbery

Poquoson, Va. – Police are investigating the robbery of a Langley Federal Credit Union at 415 Wythe Creek Road.

It happened on January 25 at approximately 1:35 p.m.

Witnesses say a man entered the credit union, came up to the teller and handed her a note demanding cash.

After the teller gave the robber the cash, he left the credit union and drove away in a dark black or dark green small four-door vehicle.

The robber drove away southbound on Wythe Creek Road towards the Hampton City Line.

He is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 5’7 – 6’0” tall, wearing a surgical face mask, a dark colored hoodie with red trim on the zipper and cuffs, blue jeans, black boots and a tan beanie cap.
