Sunny but very cold and windy… Temperatures will linger near freezing all day but it will feel more like the low to mid 20s with NW winds at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will fall into the teens by Tuesday morning with wind chills in the single digits. Highs will only climb to near 30 tomorrow afternoon with wind chills in the low 20s. We will start to warm up for midweek with highs back into the 40s by Thursday.
We are keeping an eye on another chance for snow for Friday and Saturday. An area of low pressure will track across the Southeast and up the Mid-Atlantic, bringing rain into the region. At the same time cold air will be pushing SE from the Great Lakes. The biggest question for us will be, how far south and east will the cold air go. As of now, we will see mostly rain for Friday and Saturday but with some snow mixing, especially during the overnights. Right now the “bulls eye” for snow will be to our northwest. Expect this forecast to be adjusted and fine-tuned as we go through the week.
