For those who are looking for some New Year’s Eve fun in Hampton Roads, here are several events you may want to check out:

VIRGINIA BEACH TOWN CENTER 

Last Night on the Town - 222 Central Park Ave., Virginia Beach

Celebrate the “Last Night on the Town,” the City of Virginia Beach’s premier New Year’s Eve event. The festivities begin in the afternoon at Pembroke Mall with entertainment for the whole family by Magical Solutions, Inc., including a children’s countdown and balloon drop at 5:00 PM. The adult fun continues throughout the night at Town Center with live music by headline band Cherry Poppin' Daddies! A midnight countdown and a spectacular laser light show, fireworks, and Virginia Beach Ball Drop will ring in 2016.

All activities and entertainment are free and open to the public, with food and adult beverages available for purchase. 

VIRGINIA BEACH OCEANFRONT

New Year's Eve Dinner at the Sheraton - 3501 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach

Fusion Restaurant and Lounge, located in the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel, is hosting a three course dinner on New Year's Eve. Spend your New Year's Eve at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront this year and enjoy a fabulous meal prepared by our Award-Winning Chef. Downtown Hampton New Year's Eve Celebration  - Queens Way, Hampton

The Block Party is continuing it's new tradition.  At Midnight, for the second year, we will be dropping a lit over-sized crab pot from the top of the Old Point National Bank. There will be live entertainment, fire barrels, food vendors and your favorite adult beverages. Downtown Hampton has over 8 restaurants and bars open with no cover during this New Year's Eve celebration.  Also, one block away is the Crowne Plaza with a New Year's Eve Block Party Special rate.

WILLIAMSBURG

First Night Williamsburg - 200 Sadler Drive, Williamsburg

First Night Williamsburg is a family-oriented, non-alcoholic New Year's Eve celebration of the performing arts presented throughout the City of Williamsburg and on the campus of the College of William & Mary.

This is our 23rd Year of memories and entertainment, so celebrate with us!

Come stroll through the City and enjoy the area’s finest professional entertainers including singers, instrumentalists, magicians, storytellers, puppeteers, jugglers, clowns, and bands.  A variety of music is featured, including classical, shag, rock, R&B, jazz, country, folk.  Food will also be available throughout the various venues. Children's show begins at 3:00PM and ends at 7:30PM.  Admission buttons are available at 20 retailers or may be ordered online.  Buttons ordered online will not be shipped; they may be picked up at Sadler Center on the campus of the College of William & Mary.

VIRGINIA LIVING MUSEUM 

Noon Year's Eve - 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News

The whole family can enjoy this sixth-annual daytime New Year’s celebration at the Virginia Living Museum. This year's event is space-themed as the museum turns back the clock to the 1960s Race for Space as part of our year-long 50th anniversary celebration. Dress as an astronaut or your favorite space alien. Enjoy NASA space exhibits and meet members of area Science Fiction groups. Meet Bubbles the Clown and special animal friends from the Teeny Tiny Farm. Make crafts, play games, enjoy fun activities. Count down to the New Year at noon and help us bury a time capsule at 1 p.m. Included in museum admission. Special activities 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
