Norfolk, Va. – A school bus was involved in a minor accident Monday morning, according to Karen Tanner with Norfolk Public Schools.
Officials say the school bus and a sedan were both traveling southbound on Monticello and 21st Street.
The sedan put on breaks and the bus rear-ended the sedan
The bus was going to Ghent Elementary School.
Students were on the bus at the time.
No students were injured, but the driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
A replacement bus came to the scene to take the students to school.
